Business Analyst

Our client, a fast-growing fintech, is seeking a commercially minded Business Analyst to join its team. This is an opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, product, technology and operations teams to deliver data-led improvements across a dynamic financial-services environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in translating business needs into clear requirements, supporting change initiatives and improving processes that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather, document and validate business requirements
• Translate complex requirements into user stories, process maps, functional specifications and acceptance criteria
• Analyse existing processes, identify inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements
• Support the delivery of new products, platforms, integrations and operational-change initiatives
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, risks, opportunities and performance insights
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk and Compliance teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirements sessions and solution reviews
• Support UAT planning and execution, including test-case development, issue tracking and resolution
• Prepare clear documentation and presentations for senior management and project stakeholders
• Ensure solutions are aligned with regulatory, risk and operational requirements within a fintech setting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within fintech, financial services, banking, payments or digital products
• Strong experience gathering requirements and producing structured business and functional documentation
• Ability to map processes, assess business impact and support end-to-end change delivery
• Comfortable working with data; experience with Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar tools is advantageous
