Role Purpose
The Project Manager / Business Analyst (PM/BA) will play a dual role, combining end-to-end project managementand business analysis responsibilities to ensure the successful delivery of software development and IT projects.
The role is also responsible for producing high-quality project and business documentation, including PM artifacts, BRDs, and Arabic user manuals, ensuring alignment between business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Project Management Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and control end-to-end software development projects using Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologies
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Manage scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests
- Lead project governance, including status reporting, steering committee updates, and escalations
- Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery
- Ensure compliance with project governance frameworks, standards, and documentation
- Track milestones, deliverables, and KPIs
Business Analysis Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements through workshops and stakeholder engagement
- Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRD), functional specifications, and process flows
- Translate business needs into clear, testable requirements
- Support solution design reviews, UAT planning, and business validation
- Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring traceability and clarity
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Own and produce key project documentation, including:
- Project Charter, Project Plan, RAID logs, Status Reports
- Business Requirements Document (BRD)
- Functional & non-functional requirements
- User Manuals and Training Materials (Arabic language mandatory)
- Ensure documentation is accurate, version-controlled, and aligned with delivered solutions
- Coordinate document reviews and sign-offs
- Support knowledge transfer, training, and handover to operations/support teams
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in Project Management and Business Analysis roles
- Proven experience delivering enterprise or large-scale IT / software projects
- Strong hands-on experience preparing PM documentation and BRDs
- Demonstrated experience writing user manuals in Arabic (mandatory)
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid models
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and vendors
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Ability to work onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have)
- PMP / PRINCE2
- CBAP / CCBA or equivalent BA certification
- Agile / Scrum certifications
