Job Description
'We are looking for an IT Business Analyst who can effectively bridge business requirements with technical solutions. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to analyze business needs, design system solutions, and ensure successful implementation of IT projects.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and analyze business and technical requirements from stakeholders
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
Create and maintain documentation such as BRD, FRD, SRS, user stories, and use cases
Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams throughout the SDLC
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
Support system design, integration, and data mapping activities
Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure requirements are met
Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies in system implementations
Work with APIs, databases, and system integrations when required
Ensure solutions align with business goals and IT standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
3–7 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies
Proficiency In Tools Like
SQL (for data analysis)
Excel
JIRA / Confluence
Power BI or Tableau (optional but preferred)
Basic Understanding Of
APIs (REST/SOAP)
Databases and data structures
System integrations
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders'
