Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Business Continuity Specialist to join our team in Makkah. The role focuses on supporting the continuity and resilience of IT services by planning, coordinating, and monitoring business continuity and disaster recovery activities. The ideal candidate will contribute to ensuring service availability, preparedness for emergencies, and effective response to incidents and crises.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and maintenance of Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans for IT services.
- Participate in identifying risks, threats, and potential impacts on technical services.
- Assist in managing incidents, crises, and emergency situations related to IT service continuity.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure readiness and continuity of critical systems.
- Support the execution of business continuity and disaster recovery tests and exercises.
- Document continuity procedures, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Contribute to improving continuity processes in alignment with best practices and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in IT service continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management, or related domains.
- Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery concepts and practices.
- Preferred certification: ISO 22301, ITIL, or any relevant Business Continuity certification.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively during incidents and emergencies.
