About the Role
We are looking for a Business Data Analyst to join our Data Management and AI team and support data-driven decision-making across our digital banking platform.
In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business questions into measurable metrics, build dashboards, and ensure that data insights support business objectives.
This position is ideal for a junior analyst who is passionate about data, analytics, and financial technology and wants to grow within a fast-paced fintech environment.
Team Overview
The Data Management and AI team works across the entire technology stack at QNBeyond Plus, enabling advanced analytics, reporting, and AI-driven insights.
Our team collaborates with multiple technology and business teams to manage, analyze, and serve data that helps deliver innovative digital banking experiences for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Data Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and data teams.
- Gather and document reporting and analytics requirements.
- Translate business questions into metrics, KPIs, and analytical insights.
Analytics & Reporting
- Design and develop dashboards and reports to support business decisions.
- Validate that analytical outputs accurately answer business needs.
Data Analysis
- Analyze business data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities.
- Support teams in using data to improve customer experience and operational performance.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead analytical initiatives and influence stakeholders with data insights.
- Ensure effective communication between business teams and technical teams.

Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Good understanding of data modeling concepts
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools is a plus
Professional Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with requirements gathering and documentation
- Basic leadership or initiative-taking capabilities
Domain Knowledge
- Knowledge of banking or financial services is a plus
- Experience working in regulated environments or PCI/DSS compliance is advantageous
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or system analysis
- At least 1 year of experience in fintech or regulated environments is preferred
