Role Overview
The Business Development Manager Event Technology will lead Rayqube's growth strategy for the technology vertical in the UAE and GCC. The role demands an industry-seasoned professional with a strong track record of selling B2B technology-driven solutions within the events and experiential marketing industry.
Experience working with regional experiential technology agenciesand specifically selling to event agencies, AV companies, advertising and PR firms, and marketing teams of FMCG/retail brandsis a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a robust sales strategy for Rayqube's immersive technology solutions.
- Target and acquire high-value clients, including: Event agencies (B2B), FMCG brand and retail marketing teams, AV companies, Advertising and PR agencies, Government and semi-government entities involved in events and exhibitions
- Leverage a strong regional network to initiate conversations, create demand, and close deals.
- Build lasting relationships with C-level executives, procurement heads, and project managers.
- Deliver impactful presentations, proposals, and technology demonstrations.
- Act as the strategic point of contact from lead conversion to project delivery.
- Stay ahead of trends in the GCC experiential technology market.
- Monitor competitor offerings and positioning to refine sales strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the outreach and sales team.
- Establish clear KPIs and ensure sales targets are achieved.
- Maintain updated and accurate records in CRM systems.
- Provide detailed sales performance and forecast reports to senior management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of proven sales experience in the experiential technology, AV, events production, or interactive installations industry.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in GCC-based experiential tech agencies selling B2B solutions to event agencies and related sectors.
- Established network of senior decision-makers in UAE and GCC markets.
- Proven ability to close high-value, complex B2B deals.
- Excellent negotiation, networking, and presentation skills.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive market.
- Willingness to travel across GCC for client meetings and industry events.
