VALORIZEN is a research and innovation center that develops, scales up and commercializes technologies to valorize sustainable materials. VALORIZEN is the research arm and a wholly owned subsidiary of United Kingdom-based Scaleup Innovations Holdings Limited. Our center is currently piloting and commercializing the world's first textile fibers and reinforcements extracted from the byproducts of pruning of date palms, known as PalmFil. We work hand-in-hand with universities, research centers, industry and international development organizations to license our technologies and build new ventures around them. We are now looking for a new skillful colleague . 

What you will do:

• Build ventures and long-term strategic partnerships with universities, research centers, industry and government.

• Identify and apply for grants, innovation programs and funding opportunities (e.g. UNIDO, IFC, GIZ, USAID, UNDP, Horizon Europe, PRIMA).

• Support licensing, commercialization and venture-building activities around our technologies.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, generate qualified leads and manage the sales pipeline.

• Prepare winning proposals, presentations and partnership agreements.

• Represent VALORIZEN at networking events, conferences and with international partners.

We hope you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.

• 3–7 years of experience in business development, innovation or startups.

• Hands-on experience with international organizations and donor-funded programs such as UNIDO, USAID, IFC, GIZ, UNDP, Horizon Europe, or PRIMA.

• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

• Excellent English communication.

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
