Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Business Development / Energy Engineer to support our growth in the energy efficiency and ESCO sector. The ideal candidate will represent our aftersales energy solutions division, engage with clients, generate new business leads, and achieve sales targets within the UAE energy market.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the energy efficiency, ESCO, and sustainability sectors.
  • Engage with potential clients including energy companies, ESCOs, developers, hotels, residential communities, and infrastructure projects.
  • Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and client presentations, especially for aftersales and energy solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with open clients and prospective customers.
  • Achieve annual sales targets between AED 1.5M – 2M.

Technical & Energy Engineering Support

  • Provide technical input to customers on energy solutions, retrofits, and optimization opportunities.
  • Support energy audits, measurement and verification activities, and proposal development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare technical-commercial offers.
  • Maintain awareness of competitor activities across companies such as Trane, Johnson Controls, and key ESCOs.

Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Track market trends and identify upcoming opportunities in the energy efficiency sector.
  • Monitor competitor offerings in the energy and ESCO industry.

Client Engagement & Representation

  • Represent the company with aftersales and energy efficiency clients at events, exhibitions, and meetings.
  • Establish strong networks with organizations such as Etihad ESCO, Dalkia, DEWA, SEWA, and other energy companies.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in the energy sector or business development in energy services.
  • CEM (Certified Energy Manager) qualification is required.
  • CMVP (Measurement & Verification Professional) certification is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of energy efficiency solutions, ESCO models, and sustainability market.
  • Arabic-speakers preferred.
  • Proficiency in business development, client handling, and lead generation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
