Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Engineer to join our growing team and support the expansion of our two brands:

Project C – A design and fit-out studio specializing in interior design, architectural solutions, high-end fit-out works, exterior projects, and turnkey project delivery.

raffetari – A premium lifestyle brand offering custom-made furniture, home accessories, decorative elements, and bespoke signage solutions.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional with a strong background in the fit-out and interior design industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, supporting sales initiatives, and contributing to the strategic growth of both brands.

Please note that prior experience within the fit-out industry and a solid understanding of high-end interior finishes, materials, and turnkey project delivery are mandatory requirements for this position. Applications that do not meet these criteria will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Lead Generation

- Research, identify, and qualify potential clients, partners, consultants, and project opportunities.

- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients across relevant market sectors.

- Conduct outreach activities through calls, emails, networking, and other business development channels.

- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

Sales Support & Client Follow-Up

- Manage and follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns, referrals, and website inquiries.

- Coordinate meetings, presentations, and introductory discussions with prospective clients.

- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities using CRM systems.

- Support the conversion of prospects into long-term clients through consistent follow-up and engagement.

Marketing & Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with the marketing team to align business development efforts with ongoing campaigns and initiatives.

- Provide market feedback and client insights to support content creation and strategic planning.

- Assist in coordinating sales and marketing activities to maximize lead generation and conversion opportunities.

Market Research & Reporting

- Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities within the design, architecture, fit-out, and furniture sectors.

- Identify emerging opportunities and provide recommendations to support business growth.

- Prepare regular reports on pipeline status, outreach performance, lead generation activities, and business development progress.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 3–7 years of proven experience in business development, sales, account management, or client relationship management within the fit-out, interior design, architecture, construction, or related industries.
  • Mandatory experience in the fit-out industry with strong exposure to high-end residential, commercial, hospitality, or retail projects.
  • Strong understanding of luxury interior finishes, premium materials, bespoke joinery, furniture, and turnkey project delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • Fluent Arabic (written and spoken).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and CRM platforms.
  • Existing network within the architecture, interior design, construction, real estate, or fit-out sectors is highly advantageous.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
