Business Development Executive Exhibition Sales (WoodShow)Department: Sales & Business Development
Reports To: Portfolio Director
Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to sell exhibition spaces and sponsorship packages for the WoodShow Exhibition. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets to maximize exhibitor participation and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and approach potential exhibitors within the wood, woodworking machinery, furniture, and related industries.
- Sell exhibition space, sponsorship packages, and branding opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
- Conduct sales calls, meetings, and presentations (virtual and in-person).
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve assigned revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and sales activities in CRM.
- Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth exhibitor onboarding.
- Attend industry events and networking functions to generate leads.
- Follow up on inquiries and maintain strong post-sale relationships with exhibitors.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business, or related field
- 2 years of experience in exhibition sales, event sales, or B2B sales.
- Strong understanding of trade shows and exhibition industry (preferred).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Target-driven with a proven track record of meeting sales goals.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
