Company: Solar Equipment Distribution Company (Expanding Warehouse Operations)

Job Overview:

We are a leading solar equipment distribution company in Dubai, expanding our operations with a new warehouse facility in Abu Dhabi. In addition to listing our own supplier products, we plan to offer warehouse space and fulfilment solutions to multiple industries.

We are looking for a Business Development Executive with proven experience in warehouse leasing, fulfilment centres, or logistics services, who can drive occupancy, onboard clients, and build long-term business partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and onboard clients across various industries for warehouse space, storage, and fulfilment services
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to maximize warehouse occupancy and revenue
  • Approach manufacturers, distributors, traders, e-commerce companies, and logistics partners
  • Conduct client meetings, site visits, and presentations to showcase warehouse capabilities
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, contracts, and service-level agreements
  • Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and finance teams for smooth client onboarding
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure renewals and upselling
  • Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and forecasts

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 24 years of proven experience in Business Development or Sales within:
  • Fulfilment centers
  • Warehousing & storage solutions
  • Logistics / 3PL services
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Warehouse leasing models
  • Storage pricing structures
  • Fulfilment and inventory handling processes
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to independently generate leads and close deals
  • Familiarity with the Abu Dhabi / UAE industrial and logistics market is a strong advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
