About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven Business Development / KOL Operations Lead to spearhead our expansion into the India market.

This role will be responsible for building and scaling a high-impact KOL ecosystem within the forex and precious metals trading space. You will play a dual role in identifying internal high-value users with KOL potential and acquiring top-tier external KOLs and partners across India, driving both user growth and trading conversion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Internal KOL Development

  • Identify high-net-worth Indian users from existing platforms and assess KOL potential
  • Design tailored incubation strategies aligned with Indian user behavior and cultural nuances
  • Convert users into KOLs/affiliates through structured engagement and incentive models
  • Support KOLs in content creation, audience growth, and monetization strategies

2. External KOL Acquisition

  • Source and onboard high-quality Indian KOLs across key verticals: Forex, Commodities, Fintech, Investment
  • Navigate India's social media ecosystem (YouTube, Instagram, Telegram, ShareChat, Moj, etc.)
  • Lead partnerships and negotiations with KOLs, traffic owners, and MCN agencies
  • Execute onboarding and ensure smooth campaign rollout

3. Market Insights & Strategy

  • Develop deep understanding of Indian investor behavior, preferences, and pain points
  • Monitor regulatory environment (e.g., RBI guidelines) to ensure compliance
  • Analyze competitor strategies and market trends to refine go-to-market approach

4. Partnership & Relationship Management

  • Lead commercial negotiations balancing business objectives and partner expectations
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key KOLs and partners
  • Manage cross-cultural communication effectively

5. Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Track KOL performance metrics (traffic, conversion, user quality, ROI)
  • Continuously optimize KOL selection criteria and partnership models based on data insights

Requirements

Core Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • 3+ years of experience in Business Development, KOL/Influencer Marketing, or User Growth
  • Mandatory industry experience: Forex, Precious Metals, CFDs, Commodities, or Fintech

International Exposure

  • Overseas education experience (US/Europe preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in an international environment
  • Experience in India market is a strong advantage

Language Skills

  • Fluent in Mandarin & English (business-level proficiency required)
  • Hindi or other Indian languages is a strong plus

Preferred Background

  • Existing network of Indian KOLs or influencer resources
  • Proven success in executing KOL campaigns in India market

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary: AED 15,000 – 25,000/month (negotiable)
  • Attractive commission/bonus based on KOL performance (uncapped)
