The roleWe are a high-performance team driven by data, research, and execution excellence. At Qlub, our expansion mission is to fuel the adoption of ultra-fast payment technologies (NFC Tap / QR scanning) across the restaurant industry. As a Sales Team Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in not only driving new business but also mentoring and leading a team of Business Development Managers to achieve aggressive growth targets.
You'll lead from the frontusing your deep industry network, proven sales skills, and leadership mindset to guide the team through full-cycle sales, from prospecting to activation, and account growth. Your impact will be seen in both your personal sales performance and your team's ability to scale Qlub's footprint within the region.
As a Business Development Lead focused on expanding our presence in
UAE, your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage a regional sales team, setting targets, coaching performance, and ensuring successful execution of the go-to-market strategy.
- Leverage your existing network within the F&B and hospitality sectors to generate strategic leads and unlock new business opportunities.
- Support and oversee the team in full-cycle sales including prospecting, stakeholder management, deal closing, and post-sales handover.
- Act as a senior point of contact for key accounts, building strong, long-term relationships with restaurant owners, general managers, and decision-makers.
- Collaborate closely with the onboarding and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze team performance using data-driven insights to optimize conversion rates, shorten sales cycles, and improve engagement.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration with Marketing and Product teams to fine-tune messaging and gather market feedback.
- Champion new feature adoption and upsell opportunities within your accounts and across the team portfolio.
- Drive a culture of ownership, agility, and commercial excellence across the sales organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in payment solutions, fintech, or F&B tech, with at least 12 years in a team leadership role.
- Proven success in selling to C-level executives and high-value restaurant groups.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities you know how to motivate a team and get results.
- A deep network of contacts within the hospitality and F&B sector in the UAE.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to sales strategy and reporting.
- Entrepreneurial mindset you're driven by growth, thrive under pressure, and take full ownership of your market.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and sales reporting platforms.
