Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Institutions Coverage – Cross-Sell & Business Development Lead to drive the activation and expansion of cross-selling opportunities across the Financial Institutions (FI) client portfolio, with a primary focus on Turkey and Egypt markets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing cross-sell strategies that increase client penetration across Lending, Global Transaction Banking (GTB), Cash Management, and Global Markets (GM) solutions. The role will work closely with product, relationship management, operations, and risk teams to maximize wallet share, enhance client engagement, and generate sustainable revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Financial Institutions Coverage, Corporate Banking, Global Markets, and Transaction Banking, along with excellent stakeholder management and commercial relationship skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Institutions Coverage

  • Develop and execute coverage strategies for Financial Institutions (FI) clients across Turkey and Egypt.
  • Manage and strengthen strategic relationships with existing FI clients.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen client engagement and increase wallet share.
  • Support business growth through proactive client relationship management.

2. Cross-Sell Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and implement cross-selling strategies across multiple banking products.
  • Increase client penetration through Lending, GTB, Cash Management, and Global Markets solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing client portfolios.
  • Drive revenue growth by expanding product adoption and cross-functional collaboration.

3. Product & Solution Management

  • Promote banking solutions including:
  • Corporate Lending
  • Trade Finance
  • Cash Management
  • Treasury Solutions
  • Foreign Exchange (FX)
  • Global Markets Products
  • Transaction Banking Services
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop tailored client solutions.
  • Enhance product propositions based on client requirements and market trends.

4. Client Lifecycle & Operating Model Enhancement

  • Support transformation initiatives across client onboarding and servicing.
  • Improve onboarding, fulfillment, monitoring, and client service processes.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline operational workflows and enhance customer experience.
  • Drive continuous improvements across the client lifecycle.

5. Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with:
  • Relationship Managers
  • Product Teams
  • Operations
  • Risk & Compliance
  • Credit Teams
  • Treasury
  • Global Markets
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to ensure successful solution delivery.

6. Market & Business Development

  • Analyze market opportunities across Turkey and Egypt.
  • Identify emerging client needs and industry trends.
  • Develop market expansion strategies.
  • Support new client acquisition initiatives where required.

7. Performance & Portfolio Management

  • Monitor portfolio performance and client profitability.
  • Track cross-sell opportunities and revenue growth.
  • Prepare business performance reports and management dashboards.
  • Monitor KPIs related to client penetration and product utilization.

8. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal banking policies.
  • Support KYC, AML, and compliance processes.
  • Collaborate with Risk and Compliance teams to ensure sound business practices.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in:
  • Finance
  • Banking
  • Business Administration
  • Economics
  • Commerce
  • Related Discipline

Preferred Education

  • MBA or Master's Degree in Finance or Business Administration

Experience

  • Minimum 12+ years of banking experience.
  • Strong experience in Financial Institutions (FI) Coverage.
  • Proven experience in:
  • Corporate Banking
  • Global Transaction Banking (GTB)
  • Global Markets
  • Lending
  • Cash Management
  • Demonstrated success in cross-selling and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Experience in Turkey and/or Egypt banking markets is highly preferred.
  • Experience in client onboarding, operating model transformation, or client lifecycle management.
