Al Manarah Insurance Services - Abu Dhabi, a company of Chedid Capital, is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager that will focus on driving new business, managing a strong sales pipeline, and delivering tailored insurance solutions, with a particular emphasis on the SME segment. He/She will contribute to market expansion, client acquisition, and revenue growth within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Introduce new leads to the company and ensure their effective conversion into prospects and clients.
  • Analyze prospects and clients needs and requirements.
  • Design and propose suitable insurance programs and solutions.
  • Lead negotiations and ensure successful deal closing.
  • Cross-sell additional and new lines of business to existing prospects and clients.
  • Manage and maintain a personal pipeline of leads and prospects, ensuring continuous development.
  • Provide regular (monthly) reporting on pipeline development and business progress.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the domestic insurance market, including product scope, pricing comparisons, and insurers responsiveness and service quality (including claims handling).
  • Stay abreast of global insurance industry developments and assess their potential impact on the domestic market.
  • Implement related policies and procedures in line with company standards.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports for management and business tracking purposes.
  • Coach and support team members to ensure optimal performance (where applicable).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales in UAE or GCC markets in General and Medical Insurance.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
