Euro Mechanical is seeking an experienced Business Development professional from the AI & Digital Infrastructure sector to lead the company's entry into this market. The role will focus on identifying opportunities aligned with Euro Mechanical's strengths and risk appetite, developing a robust business case for market entry, and leading the execution and scaling of the new venture, with a strong emphasis on data centre infrastructure development.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and assess market opportunities in the AI & Digital Infrastructure sector through market knowledge and targeted research
- Define market entry strategy, including where to play and how to win
- Develop and convert a strong tender and opportunity pipeline
- Build and present business cases to the Euro Mechanical Board
- Represent Euro Mechanical in the AI & Digital Infrastructure sector and act as a thought leader
- Collaborate across Euro Mechanical divisions to deliver integrated solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a related discipline (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 10 years experience in Digital Infrastructure and AI Infrastructure development
- Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure (build, operations, maintenance)
- Sound knowledge of AI/ML use cases and emerging AI software trends
- Commercially and strategically astute with strong business case development skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement with government entities and regulators
