The Opportunity

We're seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our Regional HQ team in Riyadh and drive our growth within Saudi Arabia's thriving cultural sector. This role sits at the heart of Vision 2030's cultural transformation, offering the chance to shape the Kingdom's cultural landscape while building strategic partnerships with leading institutions, government entities, and private sector organizations.

What You'll Do

  • Drive Growth: Identify and secure new business opportunities across the KSA and GCC cultural sectors, positioning Barker Langham as a leader in the region
  • Build Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders including government entities, cultural institutions, and international collaborators
  • Manage Tenders: Oversee end-to-end tender management, from portal administration to proposal development and submission
  • Strategic Planning: Conduct market analysis, track competitors, and translate insights into actionable plans aligned with organisational objectives
  • Create Compelling Materials: Develop strategic proposals and presentations in English and Arabic, tailored to client needs and market dynamics
  • Stay Connected: Engage with the evolving cultural landscape through high-profile events, networking, and relationship building

Who You Are

  • A cultural sector professional with 4+ years experience in business development, bid management, or partnership development within KSA's culture, arts, or heritage sectors
  • Bilingual in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
  • Deeply knowledgeable about Vision 2030, the KSA cultural landscape, government initiatives, and key stakeholders
  • A proven relationship builder with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets and developing successful partnerships
  • Proficient in tender portal software, Google Slides & Spreadsheets, and document management systems
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Arts Management, Cultural Studies, or related field
