Job Description

Our client is a MNC and a well established manufacturer of building materials for the facade industry. They are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. This role will be leading and overseeing business development activities for the UAE market.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine customer engagement, penetration needed to gain market share and defend market leadership position
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Builders, Faade contractors, architects, and consultants.
  • Conduct product seminars, training sessions, and technical presentations.
  • Gather market intelligence for new product development and marketing strategy.
  • Oversee project lifecycle from specification to final delivery.
  • Prepare cost-benefit analyses, market comparisons, and technical proposals.
  • Manage tendering, costing, pricing, and Average Selling Price (ASP) analysis.
  • Ensure profitability through effective negotiation and margin management.
  • Opportunity pipeline management on Salesforce
  • Management of team members to achieve ambitious targets.
  • Onboarding, coaching, and reviewing performance of team members.
  • Support people development and succession planning for the region.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's / Diploma degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Business, or related discipline.
  • 510 years of sales experience in faade or building materials for premium brands.
  • Understand the concept of value selling
  • Strong understanding of costing, pricing, and payment terms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong client relationship management.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple departments
