Our client is a MNC and a well established manufacturer of building materials for the facade industry. They are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. This role will be leading and overseeing business development activities for the UAE market.
Responsibilities:
- Determine customer engagement, penetration needed to gain market share and defend market leadership position
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Builders, Faade contractors, architects, and consultants.
- Conduct product seminars, training sessions, and technical presentations.
- Gather market intelligence for new product development and marketing strategy.
- Oversee project lifecycle from specification to final delivery.
- Prepare cost-benefit analyses, market comparisons, and technical proposals.
- Manage tendering, costing, pricing, and Average Selling Price (ASP) analysis.
- Ensure profitability through effective negotiation and margin management.
- Opportunity pipeline management on Salesforce
- Management of team members to achieve ambitious targets.
- Onboarding, coaching, and reviewing performance of team members.
- Support people development and succession planning for the region.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's / Diploma degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Business, or related discipline.
- 510 years of sales experience in faade or building materials for premium brands.
- Understand the concept of value selling
- Strong understanding of costing, pricing, and payment terms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong client relationship management.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple departments
