About the Role

The Energy, Environment, and Industrial (EEI) Business Unit at Frost & Sullivan delivers critical consultative support across Energy, Sustainability, Environmental Services, Industrial Automation, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, and related sectors.

This business unit is seeking a Business Development Manager / Account Manager (BDM/AM) to support the Commercial Leader for the MENA region in driving demand and building awareness of Frost & Sullivan's products and services across an existing client portfolio, as well as acquiring new clients.

The BDM/AM will also be part of the Global Account Team for key strategic clients within the Energy, Environment, and Industrial sectors, including private and public organizations based in the UAE, Qatar, Oman, and other Middle East countries.

Role Responsibilities

  • Open doors with Energy, Environment, and Industrial sector accounts through cold calls, emails, social media outreach, networking events, and industry conferences, presenting Frost & Sullivan solutions using a consultative sales approach
  • Generate qualified sales leads and opportunities for the EEI practice and achieve defined KPIs, including quarterly and annual revenue targets across assigned services
  • Execute new business development initiatives and deliver a steady pipeline of qualified sales opportunities
  • Proactively build and nurture relationships with prospective client organizations to gain a deep understanding of their business challenges and strategic priorities
  • Strengthen the Frost & Sullivan brand within targeted client organizations and across the Energy, Environment, and Industrial sectors
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the industry segments covered, including market dynamics, regulatory trends, competitive landscape, and operational structures, to identify and capitalize on business opportunities
  • Profile prospective clients, assess their needs, and translate insights into compelling proposals, value propositions, and tailored solutions

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 4 years prior industry related business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
