Job Title: Business Development Manager

Department: EV Show (Electric Vehicle Exhibition)

Location: Dubai

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead and grow the commercial activities of the EV Show. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, securing exhibitors and sponsors, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for the exhibition. This role requires strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships with stakeholders in the electric vehicle, sustainable mobility, and clean energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, target, and onboard potential exhibitors, sponsors, and partners for the EV Show.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, new opportunities, and competitive insights in the EV and mobility sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry players, associations, manufacturers, and service providers.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales pitches to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate agreements and close deals in line with company policies and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure successful event execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, sales activities, and client interactions.
  • Represent the EV Show at networking events, industry meetings, and conferences when required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Previous experience in business development, preferably in exhibitions, events, automotive, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop strategic relationships and close high-value deals.
  • Understanding of the electric vehicle and sustainable mobility industry is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office/Google Workspace.
