Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Commercial Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving and managing new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and increasing market share within target industries.

As part of our dynamic sales organization, you will combine decades of company expertise with a bold vision for the future to deliver information management and digital transformation solutions that have a lasting impact.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the End-to-End Sales Cycle: Drive net new business opportunities from lead generation and qualification through negotiation and deal closure across both Private and Public Sectors, handling both Negotiated and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Build and maintain strong, executive-level relationships up to the Chief Executive Officer and executive suite (C-level) to understand organizational objectives and act as a trusted industry expert.
  • Ensure Pipeline Hygiene: Maintain a consistent pipeline and deliver accurate revenue forecasting within a committed culture to consistently meet and exceed designated quota attainments.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Domain Expertise: Significant direct solution sales experience specifically focused on selling business services, business process outsourcing, archiving, digital transformation, and records management solutions.
  • Strong Knowledge of Technology Sales: A proven track record in strategic new business hunting, solution selling, and delivering technology solutions into net new client accounts.
  • Proven Professional Capabilities: Exceptional abilities in stakeholder management, C-level communication, negotiation, and making broad-term business decisions that benefit the entire organization.
  • Core Communication Skills: Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, planning, and analytical skills necessary to tailor compelling value propositions and pitches to specific client requirements.
