Location: Dubai, UAE

Regional Coverage: GCC (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar)

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager – Robotics & Automation will be responsible for accelerating market growth and strategic sales across the GCC. The role demands strong technical acumen, consultative selling expertise, and the ability to translate complex automation technologies into commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sales growth for robotics, warehouse automation, and AI-based automation solutions across the GCC.
  • Manage the complete sales lifecycle: lead generation, solution design, techno-commercial proposals, negotiation, and closure.
  • Conduct high-level client engagements, demos, and executive presentations.
  • Work closely with engineering, projects, and operations teams to deliver optimal automation solutions.
  • Develop long-term partnerships with government, enterprise, logistics, manufacturing, and education sector clients.
  • Maintain structured sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, CRM updates, and market intelligence reports.
  • Represent EdNex at exhibitions, industry forums, and technology summits.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in Robotics, Industrial Automation, Warehouse Automation, CNC, or Smart Factory solutions sales.
  • Strong technical understanding of robotics systems, AGVs/AMRs, automation workflows, PLCs, AI, and IoT solutions.
  • Master's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology is mandatory.
  • Excellent client communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Hands-on market experience in UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to close enterprise-level deals.
  • Arabic speaking is an added advantage.
