English Path is a rapidly growing international language school delivering immersive English, French, and German learning experiences across the UK, Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
About the Role: The Business Development Manager (BDM) – B2C Recruitment & School Liaison Specialist is a high-impact, commercially driven role focused on driving student acquisition for the English Path Riyadh Centre. The primary objective is to build a robust, high-yielding pipeline of student enrolments for both our premium English language programmes and our prestigious university pathway programmes (including the International Foundation Year). By establishing strategic relationships with private and international schools, student counsellors, community groups, and local families, the BDM acts as the brand's primary market-facing ambassador, turning relational networks into quantifiable enrolment revenue.
Please Note: This role requires regular local travel within Riyadh to visit schools and partners; a valid KSA driving licence and personal vehicle are essential. Occasional evening and weekend work is required to host parent-teacher meetings, school events, and open days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pipeline Management & Direct Lead Conversion: Take full commercial ownership of the school-generated lead pipeline, driving prospects from initial enquiry to direct enrolment and deposit payment through active CRM tracking and structured follow-ups.
- Consultative Sales & Family Engagement: Conduct high-empathy, consultative sales consultations with prospective students and parents, delivering tailored guidance on entry requirements, visa expectations, and academic pathway options.
- Institutional Partnership Development: Identify, map, and secure commercial access to key private, international, and bilingual high schools across Riyadh to establish formal Feeder School agreements and structured progression pathways.
- School Liaison & Engagement Execution: Build relationships with School Counselors and Leadership to execute an annual engagement calendar featuring university fairs, guest lectures, diagnostic English testing days, and soft-skills workshops.
- On-Campus Events & Campus Activation: Organise and host high-impact on-campus events at the Granada campus—including Open Days, parent info sessions, and specialised trial classes—to boost brand visibility and accelerate direct conversion.
- Sub-Agent & Referral Network Management: Onboard, train, and manage local education sub-agents and freelance referral networks across Riyadh, equipping them with up-to-date programme knowledge and promotional materials to maximise market reach.
- Local Campaign & Marketing Collaboration: Partner closely with the global marketing team to design and deploy localised promotional collateral, school-liaison materials, and targeted Riyadh-specific social media campaigns (e.g., TikTok, Instagram).
- Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis: Continuously monitor local market trends, competitor pricing, and pathway offerings across Riyadh, providing monthly intelligence to regional leadership to refine course formats, scheduling, and positioning.
- Regulatory Compliance & Operations Governance: Ensure strict adherence to Saudi Ministry of Education (MoE) regulations regarding all school visits, on-site testing, and educational events while maintaining full data accuracy in the company CRM.
- Target Accountability & Executive Reporting: Take full accountability for achieving quarterly and annual recruitment targets for General English and university pathway programmes, providing weekly pipeline updates and KPI reporting to the Regional Head of Operations.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in sales, business development, B2C recruitment, or school counselling in Saudi Arabia (ideally Riyadh).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- Languages: Native-level fluency in Arabic and professional fluency in English are mandatory to communicate with both domestic consumers and our global team.
- Industry Knowledge: Clear familiarity with international school curriculums (IGCSE, A-Levels, IB, AP, and the Saudi National Curriculum) and pathway structures.
- Mobility: An active KSA driving licence and a personal vehicle are highly preferred for this role.
What We Are Looking For:
- A Natural Networker: A professional who loves building relationships and has a warm, consultative sales approach that earns trust from parents and school principals.
- A Self-Starter: Someone comfortable with a hybrid of desk-based sales counselling and field-based business development.
- Persuasive Presenter: Capable of speaking confidently to audiences of 100+ students, parents, or educators.
- Data-Driven Closer: Comfort with CRM software, sales pipelines, lead scoring, and closing deals.
