Scope 1: Strategic Sales and Market Expansion
- - Formulate and execute comprehensive macro-level business development strategies to capture major market share in the UAE and regional logistics sectors.
- - Identify, target, and pitch to multinational corporations (MNCs), blue-chip clients, and high- value enterprise accounts.
- - Lead the bidding process, including the preparation and presentation of complex RFQs, RFPs, and high-level corporate tenders.
- - Collaborate with the pricing, procurement, and operations teams to architect bespoke, profitable end-to-end supply chain solutions for corporate clients.
- - Consistently meet and exceed aggressive individual and department-level revenue and margin targets.
- Scope 2:Partnership and Relationship Management
- - Build and maintain long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders and corporate decision-makers to secure multi-year contracts and strategic alliances.
- - Conduct regular executive-level business reviews with key accounts to ensure service excellence, contract compliance, and to uncover upselling opportunities
- - Act as a senior escalation point for key accounts/mnc clients, working cross-functionally to ensure flawless service delivery and client retention
- Scope 3: Pipeline Governance & Financials
- - Maintain an advanced, highly accurate CRM sales pipeline, providing data-driven revenue forecasts directly to upper management.
- - Analyze financial performance, market yields, and profitability metrics to optimize the pricing structures of corporate deals.
- - Oversee commercial contract negotiations, ensuring legal, compliance, and corporate risk frameworks are strictly met
- - Provide strategic guidance, market insights, and occasional mentorship to junior Sales Executives to align corporate growth strategies
- - Set and achieve aggressive revenue targets, focusing on high-margin business rather than just volume.
- - Lead high-level negotiations for multi-year contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
- - Provide high-level insights and forecasts to the Management team, utilizing CRM data to guide
- business decisions
Qualification
- s- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. (MBA is a plus)
- .- Experience: 10+ years of proven, progressive experience in sales and business development within the freight forwarding and logistics industry, with a minimum of 5 years successfully operating in the UAE market, with a strong focus on Abu Dhabi market
- .- Industry Knowledge: Deep, comprehensive knowledge of global freight forwarding (Air, Sea, Land), multimodal transport, contract logistics (3PL/4PL), customs regulations, and free zone operations
- .- Network: An established, active portfolio of enterprise-level corporate contacts in the region
