JOB MAIN PURPOSE

The Business Development Managerplays a multifaceted role that combines strategic growth initiatives with marketing efforts. This role is vital for driving both business growth and brand recognition in the competitive aerospace market. He lead the growth efforts (80%) while providing strong support to the marketing efforts (20%).

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying Opportunities: Research and identify new business opportunities within the aerospace industry, including potential clients, markets, and partnerships.
  • Building Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as aerospace manufacturers, defense contractors, and government agencies.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's market presence and achieve business goals.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Negotiating Contracts: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners to secure new business deals and ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to align business development strategies with overall company objectives.

Event Coordination: Organize and participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to showcase the company's offerings and network with potential clients.

Market Positioning: Develop strategies to position the company's products and services effectively in the market, highlighting unique selling points and competitive advantages.

Marketing Expertise: Proficiency in marketing principles, including branding, campaign management, and content development.

Creativity: Ability to develop innovative marketing strategies and content that resonate with the target audience.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, marketing, sales, communications, or business administration.

Relevant Work Experience: Experience in sales, account management, or a related field is crucial. This helps in understanding client needs and managing relationships effectively.

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Aerospace or UAV/Low altitude economy (LAE) industry in which the company operates can be highly beneficial for understanding client needs and market trends.

Certifications (Optional): Professional certifications in sales or account management can enhance your credentials and demonstrate your expertise.

Arabic is a must, English business conversation level skills are required

Preferred Skills:

Acuity with airspace traffic management.

Experience in the UAV or aerospace industry.

Knowledge of unmanned aerial vehicle technology and regulations.

Previous Industrial and Government Sales experience is required

Past experience with GDMS, GACA, SANS or any government entity is a plus
