Business Development Manager (Waste Management)

Job Title: Business Development Manager – Waste Management Division

Location: United Arab Emirates

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth and expansion of our Waste Management Division across the UAE.

The ideal candidate will possess strong industry relationships, in-depth knowledge of the UAE waste management sector, and a proven track record in securing contracts for waste collection and environmental services. This role will be instrumental in identifying business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, securing long-term contracts, and supporting operational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and expand the Waste Management Division within the UAE market

• Identify and secure new business opportunities in:

• Hazardous waste collection
• Non-hazardous waste collection
• Industrial waste management
• Commercial and residential waste services
• Recycling and environmental solutions

• Build and maintain strong relationships with:

• Government entities and municipalities
• Industrial and manufacturing companies
• Construction and facilities management companies
• Oil & gas sector clients
• Logistics and commercial organizations

• Generate and manage a strong pipeline of tenders, contracts, and long-term service agreements

• Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and contract closures

• Coordinate with operations teams regarding fleet requirements, compliance, permits, and service delivery

• Support the setup and expansion of operational partnerships, disposal channels, and environmental compliance processes

• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing structures, and regulatory developments

• Represent the company at client meetings, presentations, and industry events

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in:

• Waste management
• Environmental services
• Waste collection operations
• FM environmental divisions

• Existing network and relationships within the UAE waste management industry are mandatory

• Proven experience in securing waste collection and environmental service contracts

• Strong understanding of UAE regulations related to:

• Hazardous waste management
• Environmental compliance
• Municipality requirements
• Transportation and disposal permits

• Experience handling government tenders and large corporate accounts

• Excellent commercial, negotiation, and communication skills

• Valid UAE driving license preferred
