Business Development Manager ( Wind)

Our client is a leading provider of energy engineering solutions across Asia, serving world-class customers in energy production, chemical processing, power, and other asset-intensive industries. They have supported owners and operators of onshore and offshore facilities throughout Asia with a comprehensive portfolio of industrial maintenance, plant revamps, upgrades, and shutdown services.

Main Duty

To drive strategic growth and revenue generation by developing business opportunities in the wind energy sector, with a focus on onshore and offshore wind farm services. This includes identifying prospects, building relationships with key stakeholders, leading bid and proposal development, and closing contracts for operations & maintenance (O&M), inspection, repair, retrofitting, and engineering services.

The role is expected to support the structuring of the overall wind farm services strategy, helping to define the business model, prioritize target markets, and align internal capabilities across regions to scale the wind energy portfolio effectively.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 58 years of experience in business development or sales in the wind energy sector, with a strong focus on wind farm services.
• Proven network within the wind industry (developers, OEMs, service providers, authorities).
• Strong understanding of wind turbine technology, O&M cycles, and HSE compliance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working across diverse markets and cultural environments is a plus.
