Merchandizing Operations
- Lead the strategic process for merchandizing operations
- Navigate cross functional teams and structure to drive merchandizing animation online and offline
- Manage process improvement and streamlining workflow on 360 Omni collaterals including gifting and rewards, as well as merchandizing operations for instore animations
- Ensure yearly omni animation calendars and other category lead initiatives are implemented and executed on timely basis
- Oversee the team responsible for the end to end process for gifting and rewards across Ecom and B&M internally and externally
- Lead operational conversations with Merchandizing leadership team to create yearly strategic plan across all omni activation initiatives
Business Development
The scope consists of below key areas:
- Business Development
- Negotiate and structure partnership agreements that enhance brand portfolio performance and profitability.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue and growth strategy aligned with the company goals and category objectives.
- Identify new revenue streams and monetization opportunities
- Report revenue performance and growth opportunities to executive committee.
- Secure and track brands investment across all Sephora activation platforms online and offline
- Track partners brands performance & conduct regular business reviews to drive performance for Sephora with key levers and identifying growth as well as investment opportunities
- Define sell out objectives and budgets in coordination with the merchandizing director
- Influence leadership team with data-driven recommendations and strategic insights
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external brand partners
- Negotiate and follow stock clean-up twice a year to ensure stock KPI's are achieved
- Space Management
- Own a process and a calendar to review store layouts, spaces and zoning on a yearly basis
- Ensure updated floor plans are maintained, updated and shared with internal stakeholders as per aligned process
- Review floor plan/ assortment/ space allocation for brands based on productivity in alignment with the respective category lead and merchandizing director.
- Analyze performance by fixture, category and brand to drive space allocation decisions.
- Support new store openings, renovations and store format evolution.
- Responsible to translate merchandizing and brand strategy into optimized store space that maximizes sales, productivity, and customer experience.
- Develop, and maintain store space strategies aligned to Sephora's category growth, brand priorities and omnichannel objectives
- Data Analytics and Reporting
- Build and maintain executive dashboards that provide brand/group performance highlights and insights
- Identify areas of opportunity to improve current analytics communications, reports, dashboards through automatization, improved insights and visualization
- Ensure internal and external reporting is prepared and shared with all relevant stakeholders
- Track, update and validate sales and category revenue mix with Merchandizing Director.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Space Planning Specialist, Merchandizing Operations manager and Analyst.
- Promote an inclusive, collaborative and results-driven team culture.
Qualifications
- Strong financial acumen and commercial analysis
- Deep understanding of omni-channel retail, preferably in the beauty industry
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills
