Job title: Business Development Officer
About the Role:
A data and reporting-capable BD support role, built around dashboards, BI reporting, and leadership presentation materials, plus a client-facing component.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain BI (Business Intelligence) dashboards, and Excel-based reporting for leadership presentations
- Assist the BD Manager in achieving BD goals and supporting strategy implementation
- Maintain BD pipeline tracker with accurate project numbering and stage tracking
- Support PQQ (Pre-Qualification Questionnaire) preparation and submission coordination
- Support compilation of cross-departmental evidence packs (HR, Procurement, Finance data, Tendering) for compliance/governance submissions
- Conduct sector-specific market intelligence on giga-projects and PIF-backed/government clients
- Represent Craft at industry events and exhibitions
- Attend client meetings and support building new business relationships
- Draft first-pass correspondence, CR registrations, and proposal sections for BD Manager review
- CRM/lead tracking and meeting coordination.
Required Skills:
- Excellent, hands-on fluency with AI tools
- Strong CRM proficiency; comfortable managing pipelines, data entry, and lead tracking independently from day one
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, data modelling, cleaning)
- PowerPoint (executive-level deck design)
- Strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools, processes, and business contexts
