The Opportunity
We are looking for a VP / Assistant VP / Senior Director – Business Development, Oncology &
Immunology to lead and expand Partex.AI's business development activities across AsiaPacific, with a particular focus on pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in Singapore,
Japan, China and the broader APAC region.
We are looking for someone who brings the skills and commercial understanding of a true drug
hunter — someone who understands what pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies look
for when evaluating assets for in-licensing, co-development, strategic partnerships and
portfolio expansion.
The primary focus of this role will be to out-license Partex.AI's oncology and immunology
assets, identify strategic partners, develop senior-level relationships and drive opportunities
from initial engagement through valuation, negotiation and potentially term-sheet execution.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong, demonstrable deal sheet, an established network across
Pharma/Biotech and the ability to independently identify, qualify and convert high-value
licensing opportunities.
Role & Business Context
Partex.AI's Asset Exchange business focuses on increasing the value and attractiveness of
pharmaceutical assets through AI-driven dossier enrichment.
• Identification of new indications
• Identification of synergistic combination opportunities
• AI-driven asset analysis and prioritization
• Generation of new biological or clinical hypotheses
• Validation of hypotheses through wet-lab capabilities where appropriate
• Development of compelling scientific and commercial narratives
• Partner identification and outreach
• Asset valuation and commercial positioning
• Negotiation and progression toward term sheets and licensing agreements
Many of our Asset Exchange opportunities are structured around risk-sharing commercial
models, where revenues are linked to the successful licensing or development of an asset.
In addition to Asset Exchange and Asset Management, Partex.AI operates a significant Asset
Services business focused on AI solutions for R&D, patient data, validation and related
services. While this will not be the primary focus of the position, the ability to identify crossselling and strategic partnership opportunities across the broader Partex.AI portfolio will be
highly valued.
Key Responsibilities

propositions.
• Identify opportunities for indication expansion, combination strategies and other forms of
asset enrichment.

strategies.

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree, preferably in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy,
Medicine, Chemistry or another relevant scientific/medical discipline.
• Additional qualification or strong professional experience in Business Development,
Commercial Strategy, Marketing, Corporate Development or Licensing is highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of proven pharmaceutical/biotech in-licensing and/or out-licensing
experience, demonstrated through an identifiable deal sheet.
• Strong experience specifically within Oncology and/or Immunology.

partnership opportunities.
