Role Overview

ONFTECH AL ARABIA is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our growing team in Riyadh. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, The Specialist will support lead generation, client communication, proposal preparation, and coordination with internal teams. Offering more responsibility while still receiving guidance from the senior BD leadership to building strong relationships with banks, fintechs, and strategic partners, and supporting the end-to-end business development lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure.

Responsibilities

  1. Business Development Activities
  2. Identify and support new business opportunities across banks, fintechs, and enterprises.
  3. Build and maintain client relationships under the supervision of senior BD staff.
  4. Participate in client meetings, Present, document requirements, and follow up on action items.
  5. Sales Cycle Support (Growing Ownership)
  6. Assist in lead qualification and opportunity tracking.
  7. Prepare proposals, presentations, MoUs, and commercial documents.
  8. Support negotiations by gathering information and coordinating papers.
  9. Market & Regulatory Understanding
  10. Conduct focused market research and maintain awareness of fintech/RegTech trends.
  11. Gain working knowledge of SAMA, CMA, ZATCA, and related regulatory environments.
  12. Internal Coordination
  13. Work closely with Product, Projects, and Tech teams to relay client requirements.
  14. Ensure proper tracking and follow-up of opportunities through CRM and BD tools.
  15. Events & Representation
  16. Represent ONFTECH in exhibitions, workshops, and external meetings.
  17. Support marketing initiatives, including content, case studies, and branding activities.
  18. Customer Engagement & Follow-Up
  19. Maintain ongoing client communication.
  20. Ensure timely delivery of documents, proposals, and follow-ups.
  21. Help identify additional opportunities within existing accounts. Identify and support new business opportunities across banks, fintech's, and enterprises.
  22. Build and maintain client relationships under the supervision of senior BD staff.
  23. Participate in client meetings, document requirements, and follow up on action items.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the FinTech, banking, or enterprise technology sector in KSA.

Strong understanding of the Saudi banking ecosystem, regulatory environment, and key stakeholders (SAMA, CMA, ZATCA, etc.).

Proven track record in enterprise sales cycles and closing B2B deals, preferably with banks or financial institutions.

Experience in responding to RFPs/RFQs, commercial negotiations, and contract discussions.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.

Good knowledge of financial systems, digital banking, regulatory technology, or enterprise software solutions.

Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and CRM systems.

Willingness to travel within and outside the Kingdom as per business needs.

Candidate must be Saudi National.
