Our client is one of the world's leading global Public Relations agencies, with an outstanding reputation for delivering integrated communications campaigns for some of the world's most recognised brands. As part of its continued investment and expansion across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, they are looking to appoint an exceptional Business Director to join their leadership team in Riyadh.
This is a rare opportunity for a commercially driven PR leader to play a pivotal role in growing the agency's presence in Saudi Arabia. Reporting directly to the C-suite & Managing Director you will be responsible for driving new business, building long-term strategic client relationships, and establishing a high-performing team to support the agency's ambitious growth plans.
We are looking for a natural business developer with an extensive network across Saudi Arabia and a proven ability to win high-value accounts across the private and public sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development activities across Saudi Arabia, identifying and securing new client opportunities.
- Develop relationships with C-level executives, marketing leaders, communications directors and key decision-makers.
- Win new business across multinational brands, regional organisations, holding companies, government and semi-government entities.
- Represent the agency at industry events, networking functions and client meetings.
- Build and execute strategic growth plans aligned with the agency's regional objectives.
- Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing client services team as the business expands.
- Work closely with the Managing Director to shape the agency's commercial strategy in Saudi Arabia.
- Collaborate with regional and international teams to deliver integrated communications solutions for clients.
- Lead pitches, proposals and contract negotiations.
- Ensure exceptional client service while identifying opportunities for account growth and long-term partnerships.
Requirements
- 10+ years experience within a leading Public Relations or integrated communications agency.
- Must currently be based in Saudi Arabia.
- Native or fluent Arabic speaker with excellent English communication skills.
- Proven track record of consistently winning new business and delivering commercial growth.
- Strong network across brands, multinational organisations, holding companies, government and semi-government sectors.
- Experience leading senior client relationships and complex strategic communications projects.
- Previous experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Commercially astute with strong presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Passionate about building businesses and creating long-term client partnerships.
