Business Excellence

We are looking for a Senior Excellence Consultant for a major Abu Dhabi Government project.

This is not a general quality or excellence consulting role.

We are looking for a senior Excellence practitioner who understands what government excellence means in Abu Dhabi today — moving beyond compliance and award submissions towards measurable performance, stronger governance, better public services and sustainable public value.

The assignment will support a leading government organisation through a comprehensive excellence and award-readiness journey, aligned with the evolving Abu Dhabi Government Performance and Excellence ecosystem, including the Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance (ADAEP).

The ideal consultant must bring deep, hands-on experience in:

• EFQM assessment, with EFQM Certified Assessor credentials
• Abu Dhabi Government Excellence / ADAEP and UAE Government Excellence frameworks
• Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA) or other major UAE excellence awards
• Evidence-based gap analysis and organisational diagnostics
• Assessment against excellence criteria, scoring and evidence validation
• Development of improvement roadmaps, action plans and corrective actions
• Mock assessments and organisational readiness reviews
• Preparing CEOs, senior leadership teams and employees for assessments and interviews
• Award application writing, evidence development and submission preparation
• Translating assessment findings into measurable improvements in performance, governance, services and organisational impact

We are looking for practitioners, not only certified professionals.

• You should have personally led major excellence and award-readiness engagements within UAE Government entities, with additional experience working with leading international or large-scale organisations.
• You must be comfortable working at senior leadership level and able to challenge, advise and guide an organisation from initial diagnosis through improvement, evidence development, mock assessment and final readiness.
• Experience with the latest Abu Dhabi Government Performance and Excellence Model, government performance frameworks, public value, institutional maturity and evidence-based assessment will be particularly valuable.

Arabic capability and strong experience within the Abu Dhabi Government environment are highly preferred.

This is a project-based consulting opportunity in Abu Dhabi and we are particularly interested in senior consultants, lead assessors and former excellence award assessors with a proven UAE track record.
