About Virohan:
Founded about a decade ago by Kunaal Dudeja, Nalin Saluja, and Archit Jayaswal, Virohan is an education–to-industry partner building the workforce powering India's healthcare future. We partner with universities and colleges across India to deliver industry- aligned programs in Healthcare and management, helping students bridge the gap between education and real-world employability. At Virohan, we believe healthcare education needs to go beyond classrooms. Our model combines academic learning with hands-on industry exposure and strong healthcare partnerships, ensuring students are prepared for real roles. Today, Virohan has trained 13,000+ healthcare professionals, with a growing network of university and industry partners across the country.
Backed by global investors including Blume Ventures (India), Mynavi Corporation (Japan), Rebright Partners (Japan), Elea Foundation (Switzerland), Artha Impact (Switzerland), Bharat Inclusive Technologies Seed Fund (India), and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Venture Capital (Japan), we are building at the intersection of education and healthcare — two of India's fastest-growing sectors.
About the Role:
We train India's next Allied Healthcare Professionals and we need someone who is a highly analytical and business-oriented Business Finance professional who treats each campus like their own company, not just a row in a spreadsheet and can drive financial performance through data-driven insights and strategic decision-making. This is not a traditional accounting or controllership role. This is for someone who wants to be in the room where growth, admissions, and campus operations decisions are made; bringing the financial lens that turns good intentions into profitable outcomes.
Why This Role Exists
Most finance people explain the P&L after the quarter ends. We want someone who changes it before it does. If you've ever sat in a business meeting thinking I could've told you that three weeks ago, this is your seat.
What You'll Own
● Run the numbers behind real campuses, enrollments, faculty costs, placements, profitability. Know them cold.
● Be in the room, not the report; sit with Business Heads and speak up before decisions are made, not just summarize them after.
● Chase the why behind the money; why did this channel's cost-per-enrollment spike Why is one campus profitable and a near-identical one isn't
● Follow the cash all the way home from student loan approval to actual money in the bank.
● Build the model before anyone asks for it; forecasts, business cases, what-ifs are rooted in real batch sizes and seat fill rates, not last year's numbers with 15% added on.
Who You Are
● 3 to 7 years in FP&A or business finance; bonus if it's EdTech, healthtech, FinTech, or another fast-moving, multi-location business
● You've worked with business teams, not just for them
● Excel/Sheets fluent; SQL or BI tools a bonus
● You can explain a complex model in one sentence a non-finance person gets instantly
● Curious by default; you ask why before you build the spreadsheet
● Confident enough to challenge a decision with data, even without authority over the room
Bonus Points.
● CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA. Startup scars preferred over big-company polish.
Winning Looks Like
● Six months in, a Business Head calls you before making a big call, not after. And you can point to one real number you moved.
If you believe in making an impact on society and are keen to be a part of the fast growing healthcare education sector, we would be delighted to hear from you!
