Core Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Business Development
- Develop and execute market entry and expansion strategies for
charging services, photovoltaic, energy storage, and other projects in theMiddle East to achieve large-scale implementation.
- Be responsible for setting, breaking down, and achieving annual business objectives, monitoring market performance, and continuously optimizing business strategies.
- Explore new business models aligned with local policies and market demands, and drive the localization and innovation of products and services.
2. Relationship Building & Maintenance
- Gain deep insights into local customer and industry needs, and establish and maintain long-term relationships with government departments, industry organizations, key enterprise clients, and partners.
- Represent the company in industry forums, policy discussions, and business events to enhance brand influence and market recognition.
3. Project Advancement & Resource Integration
- Lead cross-cultural and cross-regional business negotiations to promote project cooperation, joint ventures, and resource integration.
- Oversee end-to-end project management, coordinate internal teams including technical, product, and operations to ensure high-quality project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise business operational compliance, ensuring adherence to local laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
4. Market & Policy Insight
- Continuously monitor energy policies, market trends, and competitive dynamics in the Middle East, providing forward-looking analysis and recommendations for business decision-making.
- Collaborate with product teams to drive the localization adaptation and iterative optimization of solutions.
Qualifications
1. Cultural & Regional Experience
- Possess long-term (5+ years) living and working experience in the Middle East, with a deep understanding of local social culture, business practices, and policy environments.
- Have successful experience in business development or project management in the Middle East; long-term residency in the Middle East is preferred.
2. Industry Experience
- At least 8 years of experience in the new energy industry, with a background in business development, project management, or strategic planning in areas such as photovoltaic, energy storage, and charging infrastructure.
- Familiar with energy project development processes, investment and financing models, or technical cooperation mechanisms; experience in driving projects from zero to one is preferred.
3. Language & Cultural Competence
- Proficiency in Arabic and English, capable of high-level business negotiations, cross-cultural communication, and official document drafting.
- Strong international perspective, resource integration skills, and experience in cross-cultural team collaboration.
4. General Competencies
- Excellent strategic thinking, business acumen, and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, coordination skills, and the ability to advance complex projects.
- Willingness to undertake frequent business travel and adapt to a high-intensity business development pace.
