About the role

As a BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions to improve decision-making processes. You will work closely with various teams to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions. Your primary duties will include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions using Power BI, SSIS, and SSAS.
• Writing complex SQL queries and optimizing them for performance.
• Developing and implementing data models, data warehouse solutions, and ETL processes.
• Creating and maintaining documentation for BI solutions, including technical specifications and user guides.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.
• Ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security across all BI solutions.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to BI tools and solutions.
• Providing training and support to end-users on BI tools and reporting systems.

About you

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field of information technology and have over four years of experience in administering, managing, and tuning SQL databases. They should be proficient in implementing and managing data management practices and policies, possess a solid understanding of data and schema standards and concepts, and be skilled in integrating and troubleshooting ETL processes from ERP systems. Additionally, the candidate must have knowledge of data warehousing, including the development of SSIS packages and SSAS cubes. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or a similar edition will be a plus.
