Position Objective As a Business Intelligence Manager, the role is to leverage deep business and market knowledge to lead the team in an inspiring, supportive, and challenging manner. The position is responsible for guiding the business toward growth, operational excellence, and sustained profitability while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and organizational values.

Purpose of the role:
To drive the growth of Home Centre and steer the business toward sustained profitability by leveraging data-driven insights, commercial strategy, and cross-functional leadership across the GCC retail network.
- Lead the Business Analytics function for Home Centre GCC, acting as a strategic partner to the Sr. VP & Head - Retail and supporting data-led decision-making across a network of 72 stores.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across functions, ensuring alignment on key business priorities and strategic initiatives.
- Lead weekly Trade Meetings with functional and departmental heads to drive performance reviews, business alignment, and informed decision-making.
- Design and implement retail incentive structures aligned with business objectives and role-specific performance goals.
- Championed Digital Transformation and Automation within the analytics function, significantly improving efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time of reporting processes.
- Own the business intelligence function by ensuring data accuracy, consistency, reliability, and accessibility across the organization.
- Analyze territory-wise sales performance and key retail metrics, providing actionable monthly insights to stakeholders.
- Deliver commercial insights and user-friendly business information to the Concept Office, territories, and key organizational stakeholders.
- Support retail and business strategy development by translating insights into actionable growth initiatives.
- Demonstrate strong cross-functional leadership by collaborating effectively with multiple departments to achieve business goals.
- Oversee the development, enhancement, and governance of retail KPI dashboards and operational reporting tools.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to support sustainable growth and profitability.
- Championing new ways of working focused on growth, operational efficiency, customer experience, people development, and profitability.
- Establish, standardize, and refine policies, procedures, and commercial frameworks to optimize sales performance, campaigns, and revenue streams.

Job Role:
- Business Intelligence Reporting: Maintain ownership and accountability for all business intelligence reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, reliability, and compliance with standard reporting practices.
- Business Information Ownership: Accountable for the creation, validation, and timely delivery of accurate business information, ensuring consistency, adherence to best practices, and effective benchmarking across stores and channels.
- KPI & Dashboard Reporting: Produce accurate KPI and management dashboard reports that meet the needs of business leaders, ensuring clarity, standardization, and effective decision-making.
- Efficiency & Optimization: Drive automation, process improvements, and optimization initiatives to enable highly efficient ways of working across sales and operations.
- Retail Incentive Design: Develop and implement retail incentive structures aligned with business objectives, sales performance, and employee motivation.
- Commercial Guidance: Provide strong commercial guidance to ensure profitable and sustainable growth while aligning revenue streams with overall company strategy.
- Revenue Growth: Identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities by optimizing product mix, channel performance, customer engagement, and employee contribution.
- Performance Alignment: Ensure transparency and alignment across all levels of the organization by partnering with managers to close performance gaps across stores and regions through benchmarking and operational reviews.
- Feasibility & Investment Evaluation: Conduct feasibility studies and commercial evaluations for new property sign-offs and business expansion opportunities.
- Commercial Partnership: Collaborate closely with the Commercial Trading Team to establish effective sales operations management structures that maximize efficiency and sales opportunities.
- Action Planning: Support the Commercial Operations team in developing actionable plans aligned with the business strategy, agreed goals, and KPIs.
- Strategic Analysis: Analyze benefits, costs, and investment opportunities to develop strong business cases that support retail growth and operational excellence.
- Performance Management: Summarize, and communicate KPIs and performance insights to support leadership decision-making and business reviews.
- Performance Analysis & Standardization: Conduct company-wide performance analysis, identify successful practices, and drive the adoption of standardized processes and operational best practices across the business.
Qualifications for Internal Candidates
Bachelor's degree or higher in a field relevant to Business Information, with strong analytical and business knowledge.
+8 years experience in business development, working with large teams and in complex environments. 8 years plus specific experience in a similar role.
