We are looking for an experienced Business & Robotics News Editor to join our editorial team on-site in our Dubai office.

This role is focused on the business and industry side of robotics. Your work will be read not only by a general audience, but also by founders, executives, investors and some of the world's leading companies operating in and around the robotics industry.

The Role

You will be responsible for identifying, researching and writing the stories that matter in the global robotics business.

This includes breaking news, company developments, investments, acquisitions, product launches, manufacturing developments, industry shifts and deeper investigative stories.

We are looking for someone who doesn't simply rewrite press releases.

You should be able to independently identify what is actually newsworthy, investigate beyond the initial announcement, find the business angle behind a story and turn complex information into clear, authoritative journalism.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Monitoring the global robotics industry and identifying relevant stories

* Writing high-quality business news and feature articles

* Researching companies, markets and industry developments

* Developing original and investigative stories

* Identifying emerging trends before they become mainstream

* Conducting interviews with founders, CEOs, executives and industry experts

* Fact-checking and verifying information and sources

* Developing strong headlines and story angles

* Following companies, funding rounds, acquisitions and major commercial developments

* Turning complex technical and business topics into accessible, compelling journalism

* Maintaining a consistently high editorial standard across Robot24.com

What We Are Looking For

This position requires an exceptionally strong professional writer.

Our reporting is read by the companies and executives we cover. Accuracy, credibility and editorial quality are therefore essential.

You should have:

* Several years of professional experience in business, technology or industry journalism

* Exceptional written English

* Strong research and investigative skills

* Excellent news judgment

* Experience interviewing senior executives and industry experts

* Ability to understand financial and commercial information

* Ability to distinguish meaningful developments from corporate PR

* Strong fact-checking and source-verification standards

* The ability to work quickly without compromising editorial quality

* Genuine curiosity about robotics, technology and the businesses shaping the industry

Previous robotics expertise is advantageous but not essential. Outstanding journalism and business-writing ability are more important.

Location

This is an on-site position in Dubai, UAE.

We are specifically looking for someone who wants to become part of our editorial team and work closely with the wider Robot24.com organization from our Dubai office.
