Job Purpose:
This role will be responsible for creating and implementing business planning processes including designing strategic plans based on forecasts and providing improvement recommendations.
Job holder will also develop and establish set KPI's for performance measurement and monitoring.
Job Responsibilities:
- Play a leading role in the development of the strategic agenda in Aftersales and help drive its execution; coordinate, prepare and create strategic reviews and business plans on a regular basis
- Assist in the delivery of the management agenda - taking the lead to identify and drive initiatives designed to build the businesses, improve financial performance, balance sheet management, operating efficiency, risk and people management
- Identify and address the top issues/opportunities for performance improvement across the team
- Work on specific projects/deep dives and ensure follow-through, particularly when thematic issues arise (work with relevant business heads in the cluster); provide timely and succinct updates on issues/projects
- Engage with regional teams to co-ordinate geographically driven initiatives
- Act as a prime contact point and coordinator for initiatives
- Create the process for annual revenue/cost budget and forecasting process
- Work with the after-sales team to maintain a rigorous cost and investment discipline across
- Develop & maintain an effective reporting cycle to monitor business momentum and to pro-actively highlight potential issues; develop & maintain regular reports such as business Scorecards, Revenue Reports, Pipeline Reports, etc.
- Create Performance metrics and reporting frameworks for continuous improvement with a strategic focus, which will drive business in standardized way.
- Establish governance to manage performance compared to budgets.
- Coordinate with the manager on aligning finance figures in terms of reporting.
- Develop tools to capture in standardized way across all sales channel and functions within After-sales, Body & Paint, Wholesale and Fleet performance KPI's; report to senior leaders on monthly basis
- Establish performance guides and processes for entities to follow and measure.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Expert knowledge of and experience in the automotive after-sales industry is essential.
- At least 5-10 years of experience at an OE supplier or a major OES vendor
- Commercial acumen, clear strategic thinking and ability to create buy-in and influence at a senior level
- Strong data analytical, evaluation and interpretation skills, including P&L & good business acumen
- Target oriented and drive to exceed demanding challenges
- Stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills able to drive best practices and productivity
