Business Process Transformation Lead – ARIS - Consultancy Project - 3 Months Contract

We are supporting an urgent requirement for a senior Business Process Transformation Lead with strong ARIS expertise to lead a short-term transformation engagement.

This is a highly functional, business-process focused role, suited to someone operating at Senior Manager, Project Lead, Stream Lead or Director level. The client is looking for a genuine ARIS and process transformation specialist who can independently lead the workstream, manage stakeholders effectively, and take ownership of delivery from start to finish.

The successful consultant will be supported by a small internal team of Process Modelers, so the focus is not technical development. This role is about providing functional ARIS expertise, shaping process models, guiding best practice, and ensuring business processes are aligned to the client's revised organisational structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the business process transformation workstream, using ARIS as the core process platform
  • Review, configure, adapt and optimise existing ARIS setups from a functional perspective
  • Build on process work completed previously and align outputs to the revised organisational structure
  • Guide process modelling activities in line with business requirements and organisational design
  • Lead workshops with business stakeholders and manage engagement touchpoints independently
  • Provide direction and quality oversight to a small team of internal Process Modelers
  • Ensure process models are structured, consistent, practical and fit for purpose
  • Act as the senior client-facing lead for the workstream, ensuring progress, quality and stakeholder alignment

Key Requirements

  • Strong functional expertise in ARIS
  • Proven experience in business process transformation and process modelling
  • Experience aligning process models to organisational structures
  • Ability to configure, adapt and optimise existing ARIS environments
  • Strong understanding of business process frameworks, governance and modelling standards
  • Comfortable leading workshops and engaging directly with senior stakeholders
  • Able to operate independently in a lean stakeholder environment
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and workstream leadership skills
  • Prior experience operating at Senior Manager, Stream Lead, Project Lead or Director level would be highly suitable
