Overview
The Senior Technology Business Analyst leads complex presales activities, manages full-cycle requirements definition, and acts as a senior liaison between business and technical stakeholders. This role requires bilingual communication (English & Arabic), strong analytical depth, and leadership in functional delivery.
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Leadpresalesengagements, including requirement exploration, scope definition, and effort estimation.
- Act as the primary authority forfunctional scope, ensuring alignment between client expectations and delivery capabilities.
- Conduct advancedrequirements analysis, including integrations, edge-case discovery, and technical alignment.
- Translate business needs intoBRD, FRD, SRS, user stories, process maps, and detailed functional models.
- Support system architects and techleadswith functional insights for solution design.
Client-Facing Responsibilities
- Lead workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and functional demos with clients.
- Manage communication with senior stakeholders across English and Arabic markets.
- Handle change request discussions and negotiate impacts on scope/timeline.
Delivery & UAT Responsibilities
- Oversee UAT planning, traceability, and approval cycles.
- Review andvalidatedeliverables to ensure they meet functional and quality benchmarks.
- Mentor and guide junior BAs, ensuring consistency in documentation and requirement quality.
Additional Recommended Responsibilities
- Contribute toproposal writing, RFP responses, and solution presentations.
- Identifyrisks in requirement ambiguities and drive mitigation strategies.
- Establish andmaintainfunctional best practices, documentation standards, and workflow templates.
- Provide insights and improvement recommendations for the delivery process.
Classifications / Qualifications
Required
- StrongproficiencyinJira, including workflows, dashboards, and reporting.
- Proficient with communication tools:Slack, Lark, Microsoft Teams.
- Strong command ofBPMNand complex business processmodeling.
- Demonstrated excellence in project and functional documentation.
- Fluent in English
- Excellent in Arabic(spoken and written).
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, API concepts, and enterprise system integrations.
- Proven ability to manage senior client stakeholders and lead workshops independently.
- High analytical ability, structured thinking, and clear communication.
Preferred
- Experience with multi-region projects (e.g., GCC, MENA, APAC).
- Exposure to domain areas such asGeospatial,Govt Tech, Smart City or Others.
- Experience mentoring or leading a team of business analysts.
- Familiarity with wireframing and visualization tools (Figma, Miro, Visio,Lucidchart).
