Job Summary:
- The Business Unit Director (BUD) for Data Centers & Digital Infrastructure is responsible for the overall strategic direction, leadership, and operational performance of the Data Center and Digital Infrastructure business unit.
- This role will build a team of professionals in delivering exceptional facilities management services to clients operating in the data center, colocation, and digital infrastructure sectors across Saudi Arabia.
- The BUD will be accountable for driving growth, profitability, client satisfaction, and operational excellence, ensuring the business remains the leading provider of FM services in this critical and rapidly expanding market.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for the Data Centers & Digital Infrastructure business unit, aligned with overall strategic objectives in Saudi Arabia.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including client acquisition, expansion of existing client relationships, and diversification of service offerings.
- Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and pitches to secure new business and retain existing clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, and government agencies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes within the data center and digital infrastructure sectors, providing insights and recommendations for business development.
- Represent the client at industry events and conferences, promoting the company's brand and capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years specifically focused on data centers and/or digital infrastructure.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power systems, cooling systems, UPS systems, fire suppression systems, security systems, and network infrastructure. Strong understanding of data center standards and best practices (e.g., Uptime Institute Tier Standards, BICSI, ISO). Experience with building management systems (BMS) and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
