What you'll do:

Place orders for goods and services with approved suppliers, following company procedures
Secure the required approvals before issuing purchase orders
Follow up on orders to make sure deliveries arrive on time
Negotiate prices with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to get cost-effective deals without compromising quality or delivery timelines, and submit them to the Assistant Purchase Manager for review
Visit suppliers when needed (e.g. urgent cash purchases) and build strong working relationships
Follow company procurement policies and procedures
Log all purchases in the purchasing system for accurate tracking and classification
