Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cable Jointer with experience in low voltage (0.4 kV) systems to perform cable jointing and termination works. The candidate must have hands-on experience with modern testing instruments and be capable of working in a 24/7 rotational shift environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform 0.4 kV (Low Voltage) cable jointing and termination works .
- Utilize modern test instruments for jointing and termination activities.
- Work on low-voltage cables, substations, and distribution panels .
- Generate and maintain site reports using digital tools .
- Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards and procedures .
- Support maintenance and operational activities within the LV network.
- Be flexible to work in rotational shifts (24/7 operations) .
Required Skills Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of low voltage electrical systems .
- Familiarity with cable jointing techniques and termination practices .
- Experience in handling modern testing instruments .
- Understanding of substations and distribution panels .
- Ability to prepare digital reports and documentation .
- Awareness of safety practices and compliance standards .
Qualifications
- Trade Certificate / ITI in Electrical OR
- DEWA-authorized Cable Jointing Certificate
Experience- Minimum 3 to 5 years of practical experience in:
- 0.4 kV low voltage cable jointing
- Cable termination works
Additional Requirements
- Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory)
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts (round the clock)
