CAD/BIM Technician

We are looking for a skilled CAD/BIM Technician – Infrastructure to support our infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, developing, and maintaining accurate engineering drawings and BIM models for roads, utilities, and associated infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D CAD drawings and 3D BIM models for roads, utilities, drainage, sewerage, and infrastructure projects.
• Develop plans, profiles, sections, layouts, details, and construction drawings.
• Update drawings/models based on design changes, site requirements, and engineering comments.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve drawing/model clashes.
• Prepare and update as-built drawings based on site and survey information.
• Ensure drawings meet project, CAD/BIM, QA/QC, and relevant Abu Dhabi authority standards.
• Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, levels, coordinates, and revisions.
• Maintain drawing registers and document control records.
• Support BIM coordination, model updates, and clash detection.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and site teams to ensure timely drawing deliverables.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, CAD, BIM, or related field.
• 8+ years experience as a CAD/BIM Technician in infrastructure projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D preferred.
• Experience in roads, utilities, drainage, sewerage, and infrastructure projects.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred; Abu Dhabi project experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of BIM coordination, drawings, as-builts, and clash detection.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, levels, coordinates, and construction details.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
