Job Objectives:
Provide both leadership and on the ground hands on experience to the team members in managing and delivering the goals of the CAD. This includes the work is carried out as per the terms and conditions laid down in the respective Sanctions and Approvals and in compliance with the Bank's Credit Policy & Procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all work carried out is as per the terms and conditions laid down in the respective Sanctions and Approvals and in compliance with the Bank's Credit Policy & Procedure, so that credit risks are managed comprehensively and efficiently
- Provide assistance to Internal/External Auditors during their audit of the department, answer their queries and provide the information requested by them, reply to audit comments relating to credit administration and ensure that the department audit is carried out smoothly.
- Support, undertake and implement various credit risk management projects as required by the Bank's management and any other project which adds value to the performance of CAD.
- Monitor the performance of the Credit Operations, Documentation and MIS staff on daily basis, prepare and provide them with the required tools to improve their efficiency and continue to provide them with the encouragement, training and guidance.
- Upon receipt from the borrower, review all signed documentation and check the accuracy and completeness of the application to ensure that all required legal documentation and undertakings are in place prior to releasing the credit application
- Ensure that policies and procedures are administered consistently and in accordance with the Banks objectives and banking regulations
- Update and prepare various reports, trackers and other systems
- Update and maintain records on the Document Tracking System
- Ensure safe custody and traceability of all securities and collaterals
- Control and supervision of CAD team work processes

Experience & Knowledge:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject
- A minimum of 7 years UAE Experience in the banking industry
- Experience in Credit or CAD management
