Role Description The Cad Operator – Gerber Accumark role is a full-time, on-site position based in Qatar. The Cad Operator is responsible for creating, modifying, and managing garment patterns using Gerber Accumark, ensuring accurate grading, marking, and plotting as per production requirements. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting technical specifications, digitizing patterns, optimizing fabric utilization, and preparing markers for cutting operations. The role also involves maintaining CAD files and documentation, coordinating with production and design teams, and ensuring that patterns meet quality, fit, and efficiency standards. The Cad Operator may support back-office documentation related to pattern records and workflow tracking as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Computer Operations and Computer Literacy skills, including proficiency in CAD software such as Gerber Accumark.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with design, production, and quality teams.
- Candidates should possess Back Office Operations skills to manage pattern files, records, and production documentation.
- Candidates should possess accurate Typing and data entry skills for maintaining digital pattern information and reports.
- Relevant experience as a CAD Operator in apparel or textile manufacturing, especially with Gerber Accumark, is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and grading standards is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Qatar and collaborate in a multicultural environment.
- Diploma or vocational qualification in fashion technology, textile engineering, CAD, or a related field is an advantage.
