CAD Plumbing

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CAD Plumbing role based in Dubai. The CAD Plumbing professional will prepare detailed plumbing and piping layouts, drawings, and 3D models using CAD software in accordance with project specifications and local codes. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with engineering and construction teams, updating drawings based on design changes, and ensuring accurate documentation of plumbing systems. The role involves reviewing plans for constructability, identifying potential issues, and proposing practical solutions. The individual will also support installation teams with technical drawings, assist in resolving on-site plumbing design queries, and maintain organized records of all design revisions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Plumbing and Pipe system design skills, including knowledge of materials, fittings, and layout best practices.
• Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance capabilities to support practical, serviceable plumbing solutions in real-world conditions.
• Candidates should possess effective Customer Service skills to communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Candidates should have proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar) for plumbing and piping drawings and models.
• Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with relevant building codes and standards, particularly those applicable in Dubai and the wider UAE.
• Candidates should have strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work accurately under project deadlines.
• A technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in plumbing CAD design.
• Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
