Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented CAD Technician to join our team based in Dubai, UAE.

This position is responsible for the preparation of design, shop, and as-built drawings as required during the construction program.

We envisage success in this role to include;

  • Developing and prepare drawings in CAD format from preliminary concepts and sketches.
  • Preparing detailed drawings, in CAD format, of proposed facilities and infrastructures, prints of various original plans and records for internal and external company use.
  • Producing complete and accurate record drawings.
  • Producing drawings for land development projects.
  • Working as a team member to coordinate design projects with professional architects/ engineers and other CAD technicians.
  • Utilizing customized tools, utilities and scripts to automate work processes and improve AutoCAD productivity and efficiency and to comply with the company CAD standards.
  • Promoting the highest level of professionalism and ethics.
  • Performing all other assigned related duties.
  • Showing proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture, Revit Architecture, Sketchup and PhotoShop.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 7 years of work experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent.

AutoCAD certification will be looked upon favourably.

Hands-on experience in infrastructure projects in the UAE is required.
