CAD Technician to join our team in
Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will support a
major 8-year PMC rail project in Riyadh, producing accurate engineering drawings and design documentation across
Civil, MEP, Architecture, and infrastructure disciplines.
You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality technical deliverables and supporting the successful execution of this landmark project.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, develop, and revise detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings using CAD software in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
- Produce design drawings, layouts, plans, sections, details, and technical documentation for Civil, MEP, Architecture, and infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure design accuracy, consistency, and integration across all disciplines.
- Update drawings based on engineering comments, design reviews, and client feedback.
- Ensure all drawings comply with applicable standards, specifications, and quality procedures.
- Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and document control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the preparation of design deliverables, presentations, and project documentation.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS software to support design development, spatial coordination, and engineering documentation where required.
- Identify drafting inconsistencies and recommend practical solutions to improve drawing quality and coordination.
- Support the continuous improvement of drafting standards, CAD libraries, and design workflows.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a CAD Technician or CAD Designer.
- Experience supporting Civil, MEP, Architecture, or infrastructure design projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS software.
- Experience producing detailed engineering drawings, layouts, plans, sections, and construction documentation.
- Strong understanding of engineering drafting standards and design documentation.
- Experience coordinating drawings within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and Autodesk Revit is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Saudi Nationals are preferred.
- Experience working with international engineering consultancies.
- Experience supporting infrastructure, transportation, or building projects.
- Familiarity with GCC engineering standards and drafting practices.
- Knowledge of BIM coordination and digital engineering workflows is an advantage.
